Ihrovets (Ігровець, 1,804.3 m / 5,920 ft) is the third-highest peak in the Gorgany massif of the Ukrainian Carpathians, located in the Matahiv ridge (Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast). Unlike typical rounded Gorgany summits, it features a rocky, sharp top with steep drops on one side, giving a real sense of height and exposure. The mountain attracts hikers for its scenic views of neighboring Vysoka (1,803 m) and Syvulia peaks. Popular day or 2-day routes start from Stara Huta village (via Polonyna Serednya or direct ascent), often combined with Vysoka for a loop. Trails pass through spruce forests, blueberry fields, and stone runs; the summit is windy but rewarding with panoramas of the Gorgany wilderness. It's a great introduction to the rugged Gorgany style—demanding but less crowded than Hoverla or Pip Ivan.
