Nice route in a well-compact wall alternating slab sections and vertical passages

Approach 40min

From Oberberg car park, follow the trail heading south-west which joins the main trail. Continue south-west to the scree field. From there, either climb directly up the scree or make a detour by continuing on the main path and turning right onto a footpath.

Route

L1 | 7a | 20 m | Slab sometimes very vertical, technical, with one hard move.

L2 | 6b+ | 20 m | Vertical wall with good holds. Length well-balanced in difficulty. Magnificent! Beware, the block under the belay is well-fractured and requires attention.

L3 | 6c+ | 20 m | Vertical technical wall starting with an ascending traverse to the right. Easier finish.

L4 | 6c+ | The first few metres are hard followed by a section similar to Aéroplane.

L5 | 6b+ | Short pitch with a final exit move.

Descent

Rappel down the route or down Aéroplane Blindé

Gear

Sport climbing gear for long routes.

Belays connected by a cordelette.

Aging rappel loops.

Remarks

Nice route when looking for some challenge in the grades but you don't have much time. Despite the short pitches, the route feels surprisingly long and varied since the trajectory of the bolts zigzags.
