Via Ferrata degli Alleghesi

This is the classic and best-known mountaineering route on Punta Civetta. It is a long, exposed via ferrata with sustained steepness and significant aerial sections. The route follows the south-west face and ridge system, using fixed protection through difficult terrain. Although technically aided, it remains a serious alpine outing because of exposure, route-finding, and the length of the descent. Conditions can be demanding in wet weather or when the rock is loose.
