Via Ferrata degli Alleghesi

One of the classic and best-known routes on Monte Civetta. It is a long, serious alpine ferrata on steep limestone terrain, with sustained exposure and significant route-finding. The route is equipped but still requires full via ferrata kit and mountain experience. Conditions can be demanding because of rockfall, weather exposure, and the length of the outing. It is generally treated as a major alpine objective rather than a simple hiking ferrata.

This is the standard mountaineering route to the summit of Monte Civetta and is documented in major alpine sources. It is a genuine alpine climb rather than a trekking path, with steep rock, exposed sections, and objective hazards typical of the Dolomites. The route is less technical than the hardest walls on Civetta but still requires solid scrambling and route-finding ability. Rock quality and weather can strongly affect the difficulty.
