Add route
This is the standard documented alpine route to Claridenstock and is generally climbed from the Claridenhütte. It is a glacier and snow climb rather than a hiking route, so glacier travel equipment and crevasse awareness are required. The route is usually considered straightforward in good conditions, but the upper mountain can involve steep snow and exposed sections depending on the season. Objective hazards include crevasses, snow bridges, and late-season rock or ice exposure. Route-finding can be important in poor visibility because the glacier approach and upper slopes are not always obvious. It is typically done as a classic day ascent from the hut, with conditions determining the difficulty.
