Normal route from the Clariden Hut via the Claridenfirn
This is the standard and best-documented mountaineering route to Clariden. It is a glacier ascent with straightforward alpine terrain, typically involving snow travel and crevasse awareness rather than technical rock climbing. The main objective hazards are glacier conditions, crevasses, and late-season snow instability. The route is usually climbed from the Clariden Hut, which serves as the normal high base for the mountain. In good conditions it is considered a moderate alpine climb rather than a difficult technical ascent. Exact distance, ascent gain, and timing figures are not consistently documented in the sources I can verify, so they are omitted.
