This is the standard mountaineering route to the summit of Monte Civetta and is documented in major alpine sources. It is a genuine alpine climb rather than a trekking path, with steep rock, exposed sections, and objective hazards typical of the Dolomites. The route is less technical than the hardest walls on Civetta but still requires solid scrambling and route-finding ability. Rock quality and weather can strongly affect the difficulty. It is best attempted in stable conditions and with appropriate alpine equipment.
