Via Ferrata degli Alleghesi
This is the classic and best-known mountaineering route on Punta Civetta. It is a long, exposed via ferrata with sustained steepness and significant aerial sections. The route follows the south-west face and ridge system, using fixed protection through difficult terrain. Although technically aided, it remains a serious alpine outing because of exposure, route-finding, and the length of the descent. Conditions can be demanding in wet weather or when the rock is loose. It is widely documented in Dolomites guidebooks and is the standard summit route for the peak.
