Supercanaleta is a well-known and well-documented route on Cerro Fitz Roy. It is a long alpine line that follows a major gully system, combining snow, ice, and mixed climbing. The route is exposed to avalanche, spindrift, and rockfall hazards, especially in unstable weather. It is generally considered a serious and committing ascent with difficult route-finding in the upper mountain. The climb is highly condition-dependent and requires solid alpine experience. It is one of the recognized classic routes on the peak.
