Normal Route (North Face / North Ridge)

This is the standard and best-documented route on Xixabangma, climbed from the north side in Tibet/China. It is generally regarded as a non-technical high-altitude snow and glacier ascent, but objective hazards include crevasses, avalanche exposure, and severe altitude. The route is commonly climbed with one or more high camps and is the normal line used for commercial ascents.
