Normal Route from Rifugio Garibaldi
This is the standard and best-documented mountaineering route to Monte Adamello. It is a glaciated alpine ascent that typically starts from Rifugio Garibaldi or a nearby high bivouac. The route crosses the Adamello Glacier, so crevasse awareness and glacier travel skills are required. The upper mountain is generally a broad snow and ice climb rather than a technical rock route. Conditions can vary significantly with season, snow cover, and glacier opening. In poor visibility the route-finding on the glacier and upper slopes can be serious.
