A north face that has the advantage of holding snow late into spring.
From Germs-sur-l'Oussouet accessible by the D 299 from the col de Lingous or by the D 99 from Neuilh, take the road that continues called the chemin de Hourcades and which reaches the village of Cotdoussan, past the Canadian gate at 949 m the paved road ends and gives way to a track at the first fork take the rising branch on the left and follow it for 3.5 km to the terminus of the track open to the public Courades des Bazust near the hut.
From Germs-sur-l'Oussouet 949 m or depending on snow conditions from the terminus of the track Courades de Bazust 1295 m, direction the col de Couret then south in ascending traverse to skirt the Cuq de Crémail and reach the col du Roc 1587 m, from the col the ascent of the Pène d'Espourès 1712 m then Peyrenère 1783 m then the Pic de l'Oussouet 1873 m.
Descent of the north face to the edge of the Courbet wood 1376 m.
From the edge of the Courbet wood 1376 m, go back up by the thalweg of the Oussouet to reach the collet Terra de Lit on the ridge line then return by the route taken on the way up to reach the starting point.
No precise information as to the possibility of a descent that was made.
