The couloir, not the kind to make a fuss about itself.

Route

Depending on the starting point: Barèges, Pont de Tratet or Tournaboup, to reach the Lienz, then follow the track of the Glère valley to 1600 m near the second pylon of the HT line, from there climb southwest up the slopes of the face with the 2053 m dome as your target, which you skirt to the south to reach the adjacent plateau, the couloir is obvious due west, climb the scree cone, pass the first isolated rock then continue toward the rocky islet, take the right branch then above either head toward the 2372 m col or veer left to emerge at Pic de l'Ayré 2422 m.

Descent

By the same route.

From Luz-Saint-Sauveur take the D 918 to Betpouey, a plausible starting point depending on snow conditions, otherwise cross the village and take the driveable track to the Plateau Lumière.
