Thompson Peak

Thompson Peak (10,751 ft / 3,276 m) is the highest mountain in the iconic Sawtooth Range of central Idaho, within the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. The popular route from Redfish Lake via Alpine Way and Thompson Pass is a strenuous 14–16 mile round-trip backpack with significant elevation gain, passing crystal-clear lakes like Alpine and Goat Lakes en route.
