Add route
This is the standard documented mountaineering route to Rosablanche and is typically climbed from the Cabane de Prafleuri. It is a glaciated alpine ascent with snow slopes and straightforward ridge terrain rather than a technical rock climb. Conditions can vary significantly with snow cover, crevasses, and late-season exposure. The route is generally considered a classic easy alpine summit, but glacier travel equipment and route-finding are required. Objective hazards include crevasses, cornices, and poor visibility on the broad upper slopes. It is usually done as a day outing from the hut.

A second established way to climb Rosablanche is from the Lac des Dix side, using the north-east side of the mountain. This is also an alpine snow-and-glacier route rather than a pure hiking path. The difficulty is usually modest in stable conditions, but the route depends on snow quality and safe glacier passage. The upper mountain is broad and can be confusing in poor weather, so navigation is important. Crevasse danger and cornices may be present depending on season. It is a documented alternative to the more common south-west approach.
