Details →From the Autrian Hut (4700 m), first take the normal route of the Nelion. Abseil down (equipped) into the Nelion-Batian notch (baptized Gate of mists for obvious reasons...) then easily climb back up to the Batian by following the ridge (II/III).
Details →From Austrian Hut, cross the two small lakes and traverse diagonally across Lewis glacier, losing about fifty meters of altitude. Ascend the broad scree slope on path traces (cairns) to the base of the face.
