Normal route from Hohsaas via the Jegihorn ridge

2A | PD | II
This is the established alpine route commonly used for the Jegihorn summit from the Hohsaas side. It is a mountain route rather than a hiking trail, with short sections of scrambling on rock. The route is generally considered straightforward in dry conditions but requires sure-footedness and comfort on exposed alpine terrain. Snow, ice, or wet rock can significantly increase the difficulty. The route is typically done as a day outing from the lift-accessed area above Saas-Grund. It is one of the best-known documented ways to climb the peak.
