Via Normale (Normal Route)

3A | AD | III Edit route
This is the standard documented mountaineering route to the summit of Cima Moiazza Nord. It is an alpine route rather than a hiking path, with sustained exposed scrambling and short climbing sections on Dolomite rock. The route is typically described as following ledges, gullies and ridge terrain on the mountain’s south-western side. Conditions can vary significantly with wet rock, loose debris and residual snow making the route more serious. Protection may be sparse in places, so route-finding and comfort on exposed terrain are important. It is generally considered the easiest established way to the summit, but still a genuine alpine climb.
