North side / Oberhornsee approach via the north flank
This is a documented alternative alpine approach to Tschingelhorn from the north side. It is a glacier route with a straightforward but serious mountain character. The main objective hazards are crevasses, snow stability, and poor visibility on the upper slopes. Depending on conditions, the upper section may require careful route-finding to avoid steeper or more broken terrain. It is best undertaken in stable weather and with appropriate glacier gear. The route is less about technical climbing than about safe movement in high alpine terrain.
