Normal route from the north side (Collado de la Partacua / north face)

3A | AD | III Edit route
This is the standard mountaineering line on Peña Telera and the best-known way to the summit. It climbs the mountain’s north side, where snow and mixed conditions can persist well into the season. The route is typically treated as an alpine climb rather than a hiking ascent, with steep slopes and exposed sections near the upper mountain. Conditions can vary greatly with snow cover, and avalanche hazard is an important consideration in winter and spring. The final part to the summit is usually on steeper terrain that may require crampons and ice axe. It is a serious route in unstable weather or poor snow conditions.
