Normal route from the Jamtalhütte via the West Ridge

This is the standard and best-known mountaineering route to Dreiländerspitze. It is a classic glacier-and-ridge ascent in the Silvretta, usually climbed from the Jamtalhütte. The route involves easy to moderate alpine terrain, but glacier travel and route-finding are required. The final ridge section is the crux and can involve exposed scrambling on rock and snow. Conditions on the glacier and ridge vary significantly with season and snow cover. It is generally considered a straightforward alpine climb for experienced parties with appropriate glacier equipment.
