Normal Route from Rifugio Gnifetti via the Vincent Pyramid
This is the standard and best-known ascent of Piramide Vincent. It is a classic high-alpine snow route on the Monte Rosa massif, usually climbed from Rifugio Gnifetti. The route is generally straightforward in good conditions but requires glacier travel skills and competence with crampons and rope. Objective hazards include crevasses, hard snow, and poor visibility on the glacier. The final slopes are typically moderate but can become more serious with icy conditions or fresh snow. It is commonly used as part of a Monte Rosa acclimatization ascent.
