Normal route from Rifugio Casati
This is the standard and best-documented mountaineering route to Monte Cevedale. It is a classic glacier ascent on the Cevedale glacier system, normally undertaken from the high Rifugio Casati area. The route is generally straightforward in good conditions but requires full glacier equipment and competence in crevasse travel. Objective hazards include crevasses, snow bridges, and poor visibility on the broad upper glacier. The final slopes to the summit are usually on snow and can vary in difficulty with conditions. It is commonly graded as an easy alpine climb rather than a hiking route.
