Normal Route from Refuge de la Dent Parrachée

3A | AD | III Edit route
This is the standard and best-documented mountaineering route to the summit of La Dent Parrachée. It is an alpine climb rather than a hiking path, with mixed rock and mountain terrain. The route is generally considered the normal ascent line from the refuge bearing the peak’s name. Conditions can vary significantly with snow and ice on the upper mountain. The final section to the summit is more serious than a simple scramble and requires sure-footedness and basic alpine experience. Exact published figures for elevation gain, length, and times were not confidently available from the sources I could verify.
