The Innerkofler Route is a classic and well-known route on the north face of Cima Grande. It is less famous than the Comici Route but remains a major alpine climb with sustained steep ground and serious exposure. The route is documented in standard Dolomite climbing references and is part of the established history of the peak. Climbers should expect complex route-finding, loose or polished sections, and objective hazards from weather and rockfall. It is a demanding alpine rock route rather than a straightforward via ferrata or trek. Descent is usually by an established descent line after reaching the summit.
