East Ridge (Normal Route)

This is the classic and most commonly documented route to the summit of the Weisshorn. It is a long alpine climb on a very exposed ridge with a mix of rock, snow, and ice. The route is technically moderate by alpine standards but serious because of its length, altitude, and sustained exposure.
