Add route
This is the standard and best-documented mountaineering route to Üssers Barrhorn. It is generally a high alpine hiking/scrambling ascent rather than a technical climb, but it is still treated as a mountain route in guidebooks because of the altitude and glacier-adjacent terrain in the upper section. The route is usually approached from Turtmannhütte, then continues over high alpine slopes and the broad summit ridge. Conditions can vary significantly with snow cover, and an ice axe and crampons may be needed early or late in the season. The main objective hazards are altitude, weather, and route-finding in poor visibility. No other well-established named summit routes for this exact peak could be confirmed with confidence.
