Add route
This is the standard documented ascent to Säuling and is the best-known way to the summit. It is a mountain route rather than a pure hiking trail, with steep sections and exposed passages on the upper ridge. The route is generally straightforward in dry conditions but requires sure-footedness and a head for heights. In places the terrain is rocky and can feel alpine, especially near the summit ridge. Snow, ice, or wet rock can significantly increase the difficulty and objective hazard. The route is commonly described as the normal route from the Säulinghaus over the south ridge.
