This is the standard mountaineering line to the highest point of Mount Aragats. It is generally climbed from the north side on snow and glacier terrain, with a long but technically moderate ascent. The route is typically considered an alpine snow climb rather than a rock route. Objective hazards can include snow conditions, crevasses or hidden glacier features depending on season, and poor visibility on the broad upper slopes. The summit area is expansive and can be confusing in whiteout conditions. It is the best-documented climbing route to the highest summit of Aragats.
