This is the classic and best-known mountaineering route on Mięguszowiecki Szczyt Wielki. It is a serious High Tatra alpine climb rather than a hiking route. The line starts from Mięguszowiecka Przełęcz pod Chłopkiem and involves exposed scrambling and climbing on solid but sometimes loose rock. Route-finding can be important in poor visibility. Conditions on the approach and on the upper mountain can be affected by snow, ice, and wet rock. The route is commonly treated as a difficult alpine ascent in Tatras guidebooks.

This is a documented alpine route on the north side of the peak, and it is more serious than the classic pass route. It is a true mountaineering line with sustained steep climbing and greater exposure. The north face is more prone to lingering snow and ice, which can significantly increase difficulty. Rock quality and route-finding may vary by season and conditions. It is suitable only for experienced climbers comfortable with High Tatra terrain. The route is generally regarded as a harder alternative ascent to the summit.
