Add route
This is the best-known and most commonly documented mountaineering route to La Munia. It is a classic alpine ascent combining steep snow and rock on the north side of the mountain. The route is generally considered a straightforward but serious climb in stable conditions, with objective hazards from loose rock and snow/ice. Route-finding can be important in the upper section, especially when snow cover is variable. It is not a hiking route and requires proper alpine equipment and experience. Conditions can change quickly, and the north-facing terrain may hold snow late into the season.

A documented alpine route on the south side of La Munia, approached from the Troumouse area. It is typically less snowy than the north side but still involves real mountaineering terrain. The route includes mixed ground with exposed sections where route-finding matters. Rock quality can be variable, and the face is subject to loose debris. It is a serious mountain climb rather than a scramble or trek. As with most routes on the massif, conditions and snow cover strongly affect difficulty.
