This is the standard and best-documented ascent route to Braunarlspitze. It follows the south side from the Biberacher Hütte and then climbs the summit ridge. The route is generally a mountain hike with short rocky passages rather than a sustained technical climb. Some sections are exposed and require sure-footedness and a head for heights. In normal summer conditions it is usually straightforward for experienced alpine hikers. Snow, wet rock, or poor visibility can significantly increase the difficulty.
